Ajeeb Collective
Pakistan
Ajeeb Collective is run by brothers Areeb and Farzan Tariq, multidisciplinary artists working between Pakistan and Ireland. Together, they explore the edges of fashion, art, and storytelling through one-of-one, upcycled pieces and wearable experiments rooted in South Asian culture and personal expression.
Areeb comes from a background in graphic design and digital storytelling. He founded Ajeeb Studio, where he creates visual identities, animations, and campaigns for artists and institutions around the world. His work blends design, fine art, and narrative into vibrant visual worlds. He also launched the Ajeeb Design Fest, a community-driven festival that celebrates bold creativity and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
Farzan’s practice focuses on physical space and immersive experience, working with projection mapping, installation, and unconventional garment design. Based in Karachi, his work often challenges form and function, turning everyday materials into statement pieces that blur the line between fashion and art.
Through Ajeeb Collective, the two merge their disciplines into a shared practice, one that doesn’t follow rules, values imperfection, and tells stories through texture, fabric, and feeling.
